Seems like an ass covering exercise to get out of warranty work, not sure how it would cause issues given they seem to work really nicely, rarely drop out of sync, start up power is great and top speed performance current is good. Will keep my eye out on rc groups for any details though.
Decimator happily blew up both its motors off a modified HK 190-200A controller last event anyway haha and the other burnouts at the UK were due to the output wires rubbing and shorting.
None the less the prop strike detection makes YEP controllers useless for bar spinners. The "dumb" hk190-200 seemed to do the trick just nicely. Flashed with simonK and battle hardened They may be the ticket for a cheap controller. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

It seems I'm missing something.
The SS190-200 in Valkiri is battlehardened getto style.
The shrinkwrap removed, alle the space between the boards filled with artic silver, the herd of caps hotglued and that all wrapped in ducttape. Oh, and a flexible mounting, very important.

We did the same thing then :p I got rid of the red finned heatsink, replaced it with the regulator side one and epoxied it in place. Was happy with it. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

What ESCs did you use with your brushless drive motors? _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
