Featherweights?
I would be very interested in non-spinner events. That would allow for drivers skill. Lets face it. even brilliant drivers suffer from gyroscopic forces. It would also be a cheaper build without the need for 5 mm Bisalloy.
We would still be able to have other events with spinners. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
I was sort of thinking raised platform without panels as a tour style public events. But I have no idea how that would work.
I would be aiming for 2 spinner events in between. Nationals + something else. Would make things running every month much easier.
I wonder what rules they run for limitations as there was still spinning things. Just nothing too outrageous. Would pretty much be ramming/lifting/clamping bots I reckon which are still pretty fun to watch.

liking it, being able to use parts from work and make a weird creation without fear of imminent spinner death would be lovely _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

I guess you couldn't have pneumatics without the arena for protection hey?

Started putting a few things together this morning. Testing will occur once everyone is up.
I can get something running even if it is not my ideal robot. Better parts can be swapped in as money permits.
The idea is a scaled up Low Rider, that is, a clamper lifter. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

What about another riverlinks promo day?
Me and Jules will have to start a wedge or lifter in the robot shed. Maybe I try and make Wombot work properly _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts

You said March in another thread which sounds like a good idea to me.
I hope to get the basis shape of my armour in place next weekend and then start on the specifics of the weapon. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
