OK well I think the plan for this weekend is to go pickup the arena on Saturday and remove everything from the hackerspace. Probably take 2 trips.
Then I need to reconfigure the roof into 3x3 configuration. And work out how to setup the floor and maybe repaint it. Then see if we can fit the internal roof inside so we can allow spinners as I don't think that shade cloth is going to work real well in 3x3 and it looks a bit messy.
I also need to work out how to mount all the Halogens inside there. I think then it should be pretty OK. Just need to get some robots running.
Does anyone have any large black sheets we could use for covering the tables? One of the first things that Riverlink's requested was tablecloths.... I have 3 Bunnings tables lined up. I think we will run the two long ones along the edge and the small one in between them with the ant arena in the corner.
I am going to try and bring along a few screens to play stuff on so if people have playlists slide shows or please get them done.
Not necessarily as I am pretty sure 4x4 will not fit in the trailer in one go. So you are back to having to do 2 trips or hire a vehicle with 4 less panels and less floor we should be OK with 3x3.
Well full day of arena work. All is good to go can set it up in a 3X3 config. Going with thin polycarb roof so no big vertical spinners.
Will just put down protective 4.8m floor there will be no internal floor so hopefully it is reasonably flat and we don't have too many issues with bowing. Still considering putting in the other floor but will need to cut a panel and not sure I can really fit it on the trailer.
Anyway I am screwed but one step closer to being prepared. _________________ Steven Martin

No Avenger next weekend. My Banebot gearboxes are worn out and burning out every motor I attach to them. I'll need some of those Botbitz gearboxes before Avenger will drive again.
OK so plan is to be at Miles and Jules @ 6-6:30. Then I will hook up and then arrive at Riverlink Shopping center by 7 and then get everything in by 8. Shouldn't take too long to get all the gear setup.
We then need the cars out by 8. But I don't think we will have the first fight until 9.
Might be worth while bringing a few folding chairs.

Do you have a map of where we will be in the shopping center?
Not keen on walking around for an hour looking for everyone while carrying robots and parts
Also, where is the best place to park? Any costs for parking? What time do you want us there? _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
There is marker of where the arena will be on the map.
Free parking close by as you can see from map. 7 would be good to assist with setup. Few admin things and interviews will be happening from 8. _________________ Steven Martin

You've got the ant arena twice and not bringing the feather arena. Most of my videos are on Youtube, so any chance there is WiFi at this gig?
