IIRC, it's because the older Subaru AWD's used a mechanical differential to do torque split between the front and back at 50/50. So if your rear diff is causing a lot drag or excessive load, it will be fighting the front diff. It's the same reason why those olders models must run the same size rolling diameter (within 1-2%) wheels or there is a war between the corners of the car. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
