I won't say no. Moving this weekend and such. Even tho featherweights close to done little extra time would never hurt as I'll be distracted getting new place setup and such/sorting robot stuff and getting it over there soon.
New place comes with free electric guitar and vespa like petrol scooter. Shweeet. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Yeah im waiting for them to call me back with
a) return shipping quote cause your stuff wont fit in a post bag
b) their address to send my material too
c) their friggin bank details so i can actually pay them lol!
They've become decisively less helpful since agreeing to go ahead with the job. Oh Australian industry. how i love you. Giving em a ring again now anyway. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

12th is no good for me (nor was the 5th) but i dont have a robot ready anyway
Always a bit trickier at this pointy end of the year _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam
<bovril> it collects data about the surrounding environment, then discards it and drives into walls

Hi all,
Just letting you know that all my plans for the next month or two are on hold as of today. My elderly dad just got put in hospital and the best outcome is dementia - frankly I'm not expecting him to ever come home again. I have to manage him and the rest of the family so bot building is going to be a lower priority for a bit and I don't know if I will be making it to any more events this year. OTOH, I just might need some distraction, stay tuned...

Jeez, didn't even see that post. Terrible terrible news there Nick, all the best wishes to him.
Soo this meet up on the 12th, How many people are coming with antweights? just need to know if its worth tossing the last of my moneys into finishing mine. Not the case if 3 other robots are coming _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

same with featherweights
I have mine finished just about but dont have the money to attend the event in queensland this year due to recently moving and christmas/alot of other stuff going on
I will have a feather if anybody has one for a bit of fun but no antweight
if theres little feathers or ants going may look into canceling it for now or something _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Yeah, I've got nothing and GF comes to town. I'll be concentrating efforts for the Brisbane event.

Thanks Glen! The situation really sucks, he is going to be in hospital for weeks and will never recover
That means I am out for next week and Brisbane - I'm not making plans more than a few days ahead.

Righto, sounds like slim pickings then.
Anyone interested in going to the junk markets at blacktown on sunday instead? Wouldn't mind raiding the place for some old sawblades and drills _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts
