Another Aussie Icon was killed today. Peter Brock was involved in an accident at the WA Targa rally today when his car collided with a tree at high speeds

He also died doing what he loved. Nobody do anything they enjoy until further notice. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Life on hold
I don't know of many people that have died from that style of racing in Australia(although it would be easy to do), another freak accident.

Another thread????
There is a 'In Memory Of' thread. Perhaps we could use that - as it was deliberatly titled like that - to house the memories of multiple people now gone or due to go. Rather than a new thread for every dead. Pardon the pun. _________________ It's a She Thing

Maybe if you just move these threads into the thread you made after they are no longer so topical.
Obviously many of us are deeply affected by these sad events and a clearly labeled thread is easier to find.

How Embrassing! (Effie)
The code for doing that would be most appreciated thanks Gary. (neither Brett nor l could find it anywhere)
If there's a mathmatician about, who could enlighten me on the numerical efficiency of the second point in the above post, l would gladly succumb to the input.
Please feel free to PM me and we shall converse oustwise to this thread so as to not offend the man - or thread.

This thread is now locked, and both of you can consider yourself publicly reprimanded
Gary - Publicly posting Private Messages without permission is considered very bad Netiquette, and Mel, hassling someone so much over the creation of a thread is pretty harsh.
Grow up both of you. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
