Glens Holiday
to prove the point that steel can be had for free EVERYWHERE heres a few pictures i got while on holiday (how many people do you know that go searching for dumpsters on holiday )
1) Darwin industrial area, this one was near a military base thing where all the 6 wheelers and what not where parked. a few nice bits of box section but nothing flash.
2) Stokes wharf! this dumpster was literally about 2 feet higher than the top every afternoon with steel, they just kept emptying it each day. that was taken at about 8 in the morning and it was half full.
3) one of the better crap piles ive seen ever. this was out the front of a marine works. lots of steel AND alumnium off cuts and in addition had some really nice bearings, drive shafts, propellors and in particular a collosal centrifugal pump. there was like 3 shops next to it with piles about the same size
4) this was some shanty in katherine... i ran up to it to get a good look as it was next to a pair of engineering shops some big pipes and what not but nothing special... had to sprint back to the car after some yokel came out and started yelling at us lol
5) this one extended back about another 20m and was just laden with huge industrial steel and stuff. there was a convinient entrance too () this one was next to the dump shop at darwin.
hopefully ill have a video of the dump shop up soon, which is the most ultimate junkyard ive ever been to. for $50 you could have build a heavyweight hands down no sweat...

Glen "dumpmaster" Rose.
I didn`t realise this country was so full of beautiful, scenic locations!
You should make a documentary, no! your own show and travel the world
discovering strange and wonderful dumpsters in foriegn lands.
