Jeff Johnson floated this idea as an alternative event for those who cannot make it to Melbourne. Please excuse my un-original name, let's make this a relaxed and fun event with no points but perhaps a small prize.

Well Robort is currently stripped and being rebuilt, so it will not be there. But later this week I have a bit of time so I will build two other robots to bring, Bort is coming so we can drive one each Should be lots of fun!!

Ok, I have two robots for Bort and I to drive, what time are we starting?

i would assume 10.

I would have some serious armour on this time as nicks gunning for robort after the two defates it has suffered.

It's great that you are coming with two bots - I don't know how you do it!

How about 10am sounds good for me too I am (for once) ready ahead of time. Andrew is helping me out with Basilisk and we will be ready to take on anything you can throw at us.

Hehe well the two robots are two totally new ones, robort is being rebuilt with an improved design so it will be a little while yet. I think the names of the bots will be Tread and Fork. Tread is a robot built in a car tire and should be able to handle anyhting basilisk can throw at it! ( I hope! ) and Fork is a dodgy lifter bot i wipped up for soemthing to drive. Anyway should eb lots of fun, hopefully both robots work ok, they are pretty untested, i built them both on wednesday and havent been home since until now hehe.
