I'm scary enough to feel safe posting my address here...
28-30 King Street, Goombungee. If you need my phone number, email me at combat@aapt.net.au before saturday night
the easiest way to find Goombungee is...
1- go to Toowoomba
2- follow the signs that lead to Oakey, Dalby, Roma, etc. , these will steer you through Toowoomba and out the western side of the "city".
3-turn right at the Kingsthorpe turnoff. There is a petrol station opposite the turnoff, primarily blue and white in colour, a large sign at the petrol station will read "Zimm's Corner", don't buy fuel there unless you enjoy putting 3rd rate crap fuel in your vehicle !
4- stay on the road that leads to Kingsthorpe. It does a hairpin turn over a rail line, then runs up a small grade - past the Kingsthorpe state primary school, keep going - you are now about 27 km from Goombungee. Stay on that road and keep going.
5- when you come to kangaroo warnings signs, drive carefully, I see roos there all the bl'dy time. you are only 2km from Goombungee.
6- when you hit the 60kph zone, take the first right - it is just before the pathetic "iron man" statue in the middle of the road.
7- then the first left, then look on the right-hand side of the road. the premises, in order down the right hand side of the road, will go - small white church; then a brown house way back from the road amongst lots of trees; then a brick house with a low, white fence; the next place is mine - cream/white shed (w'big pale yellow doors) and same coloured house, with a crap wire mesh fence along the front.
8-due to young kids around - drive very slowly across the lawn to the rear of the block.... you have finally made it to stage one of the arena complex... _________________ There is no such thing as excessive carnage.

I'm open for a start time.... what's the usual?
Maybe a start time to work in with those who travel the furthest - kilkevan is it ?
Also, for this event, BYO tables etc., as the pits are part of the stage 2 arena development.
Timing gear, etc for bouts isn't in place yet eithor.
Ice for cold drinks will be here, coffee, tea, milo, etc as well. The local shop is only open till noon - if anyone wants eats/drinks from them.
I haven't got a BBQ here yet. Are we going to organise lunch or leave everyone to their own devices/plans?
There is a possibility of up to 20 spectators on the day as well.
Rather than run a rush job POS, I probably won't be competing this time, just observing and gaining a better understanding of build ideas for what I am working on. I'll be more than ready for the next event though..... _________________ There is no such thing as excessive carnage.
