We finally tried the jaycar brand filament yesterday….liking it way better than the bilby stuff (they are about the same price and only a 5min drive away)….the print peeled off almost as easy as the real UP brand stuff….we do have the lower heat mod installed to ….seems to be a total win….only annoying part was the spool size is way bigger than the bilby or UP spools…so had to extend the the holder.

that base raft just peeled off with my fingers…i couldn't believe it Very Happy

First thing to print! http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37082 Smile

Word of warning, we were getting awesome PLA from here for cheap - http://stores.ebay.com.au/aurarum/3D-Printer-Filament-/

But their Australian made ABS has been horrible, one batch was too big dia, other too small and one white that stank SO BAD we can't use it and had to chuck it.

I had no idea they even sold it haha. Works out to 44 US per KG, which is OK but not great considering the lead time and fact they're annoying 500g rolls...

Hobbykring has 1KG rolls back in stock in 1.75, but not many left and selling out fast... Just a heads up before I buy up the entire lot again later in the week. Laughing Works good at 220ish deg with the software hack on the UP's. Razz
