Well its that time again. Time to make sure everything is looking good for ants.

We probably need a few build days on the Feather and Ant arena. I am pretty busy in the coming weeks but when is everyone free.

Yeah..New ant floor with a trap door that works... would be good.

Do ya reckon we could have some kind of extractor pipe coming out of the feather arena incase of lipo smoke?

Working on that. New floor is being cut this week and I'm working on a new pit mechanism.

If someone can source some 4"-6" expanding ventilation ducting, I have a high flow extractor fan at home we can use with it.

We would probly need 20m of the stuff to get it out of the gallery front door.

Also do yas reckon we would need gaffa tapped up corrugated polycarb roof to seal the smoke in (that the tube connected to it).... as well as the sun netting to cover for safety.

What jobs are you wanting to do other than an extraction system in the feather arena and the floor in the ant arena? Where will the build day/s occur?

Current floor flipped and screwed down this time so we don't have any issues with bowing.

- I would like to repaint all the panels but not sure if that is feasible.

- We need to size up some of the panels and see if we can replace them.

- Some of the bolts need to be fixed up.

- We need to paint the floor.

- Need to cut some 50mm angle and drill it for the floor.

- I would also like to get the timers sorted for the ant and feather arena.

- I am also thinking of bolting some extra 30/40mm panels to the inside of the feather arena.

- There is plenty more I can't think of at this stage.

Sounds good, I am running stampede the 2nd I think, or it could be 1st. But either day that weekend woudl be good.

And we are going 4.

Also does anyone have space to store the arena for the next few months until the next event. I am sure miles & jules are sick of it at their place. If no one has room it'll go back to Toowoomba to mum n dads but thats a little inconvenient for the next public event.
