Ant arena almost polished up and ready for action! Will there be plenty of cameras on hand?

Sweet Very Happy I get filled with more anticipation waiting for awesome stills than videos now XD don't know why! But good stuff with the Cameras.

Don't forget $10 for food and drinks, i hope i got enough this time to get us through Smile

Should have an okay turnout from the sounds of things, I've finished a 2nd wedge bot that should be rather interesting if it works lol!

Okay and scoring system, its simple, everyone can understand it. Largely the same as the vic and qld ones and a minor variation on the nsw one that i still don't understand entirely XD.

Points are awarded as such:

WIN - 3 points
BYE - 2 points
LOSS - 1 point
FORFEIT - 0 points

Round robin goes until time permits. 5 rounds at the least I'm thinking. Ideally 7 (a full round robin with ~8 robots)

The 4 x highest scoring robots at the end of the round robin rounds (what a brutal sentance this is lol) advance to single elimination knockout rounds.

If more than 4 robots share highest scored Playoff rounds will be fought.

We'll see how it all goes anyway Smile Don't forget rounds start at 11 so the gates are open from 9am onward if you want to finish your robots here (god knows most will >.>; ) So see you all then!

Oh and bring some fold out chairs if you can, only got about 5 or 6 about here Wink

Congrats Andrew to a well deserved first place win! Today was great fun and awesome to catch up after far too long. Glen did a fantastic job organising the event yet again and everyone was on their best behaviour. Razz

I had a chance to film with my new camera and am very impressed with how the little thing did! Raw footage is being uploaded now, i'm not too savy with editing high def video and I figure people want it sooner, so excuse some vids if they take a bit to start the fight! Laughing

Behold the spinner of winningness:

Apart from good driving, Andrew won by having virtually no mechanical problems; not bad for a bot that was finished the night before!
