Just as well we didn't reschedule for this coming weekend, my work is no closer to fixing their problems and I am stuck on long work days and zero workshop time - I am beginning to sound like Chris! On the other hand, I now get $80 per hour for over time and racked up $1,5000 in just a few days.

For July, do we want Saturday 1th or Sunday 11th?

Honestly, I would rather not have to do the OT - its only cause we have this huge service failure that so many people are working so many hours. Its not all bad though, I am officially "at work" while dialled in and just watching my email for things to do all night - while shopping for a new welder with the proceeds! Twisted Evil

Oh, its $1,500 - drop the zero Embarassed

I'm still around lurking on the forum. Bot not done but at least have an idea for an easy one.

I changed the topic title to the new date. I propose the sunday as i liked the idea of extra day to build.

Yeah, Sunday is starting to look good for last minute builds Wink

After 25 hours of overtime this week, the problems at work are finally solved so after catching up on sleep, I will be finishing off Scissorhands.

That Bort. King of last minute! You better be building something! Let me know and I will come around and help motivate you by sitting in a chair drinking your beer.

Hmm, I could help you out there! After a few 6 packs, we could try heckling if Bort isn't motivated enough Laughing

Bort has a point though; a fresh-baked bot is way better than a stale one that has been sitting on the shelf for a few weeks.

get that beelzebot thing done BORT

Looked awesome and was close to finished (had teething issues sure but fixable ones).

Solid design, well made, can wistand most things out there, has an offensive weopon and some nice hefty drive motors

I always heckle him but he is fairly immune to heckling unfortunately.

MMM fresh baked bot. Particularly apt for Beezelbot - capable of baking itself

Extra Incentive to turn up Smile

I was cleaning up the workshop today and realised I really had to clear out some space - so next weekend, I will bring along boxes of goodies that are free or really cheap, I'm thinking of around $5 for some choice parts. All sorts of motors, Banebots parts, wheels, power supplies, titanium etc, its all gotta go!

sounds good to me

ill also bring along misc parts in which to sell or trade etc or if not purely to demonstrate to any newbies so they can see parts not in a robot and wrap there heads around it

also got my old beat up drill press, still works fine, been beat up to hell tho and looks ugly, belt drive on top is crooked from accidentally dropping it, tops banged in from hammering it when i got annoyed and something wouldnt work, switch is hanging off and barely held on with dape, free to whoever, if nobody wants to claim it on the day its getting binned next day in the work dumpster.
