Sorry guys, I don't think Scissorhands will be running tomorrow . The wiring problem in the weapon controller turned out to be a blown driver chip and I can't find anything to replace it. It sounds like there will be at least one excellent new vertical spinner ready tomorrow, so I nominate Orbit to do all the damage in Scissorhand's place.

do you want a 885 to go in there? what about another SSR?
if your still coming reckon you could bring some imperial bolts thatll go in the sidewinders heatsink. think there about 1/8th ISH. _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

I have an rc switch you can plug into your reciever and into your SSR's...
I'm not running neither, due to lack or robot . I'll be helping dylon instead. _________________ ( •_•)

awesome day by all
had boofhead, misfortune, cobra, flexo, orbit and plan g show up for a full round robin comp. some very brutal matches.
new orbit dished out some pretty massive hits against plan g and cobra but ended up bending itself up fairly decently. the weapon is a monster if he ever gets it going good i think i saw plan g do about 4 flips and get to head height at one stage
plan g rocked up with a pretty interesting looking weapon in the form of old plan b's disk mounted to the corner of the robot being powered by a massive out runner. first draw against flexo so didnt do much there but reverted to a wedge for the rest of the day and ended up taking out the series equal first for the year so congratulations
flexo running at 12v till the last match against cobra went strong all day. making it 2nd for the day and equal 1st for the series so congrats too
misfortune is definitely progressing well. the weapon setup is alot better then before and its looking seriously solid. it rammed orbit and threw it a full 360 halfway across the arena pretty high in the air. it was an awesome hit shearing off the tip of orbits weapon tooth and leaving misfortune pretty well untouched.
just have to sort out the drive mounts and wiring and youll have a damn fine little robot!
and chris boofhead was great. pretty quick machine and i dont think he opened his toolbox all day
but yah took out the day with the king cobra which was a good way to top off the year and lead into robowars. still having slippy wheel problems but managed to flip over orbit misforutne and boofhead without taking any damage so ill take him to robowars with me as well
great season to all and look foward to next year perhaps we should do some arena floor work before next year? _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts
