Anybody have any experience building a weapon wheel for a Beetle weight. Current Diameter is 150mm weight of 450g one tooth. Trying to do this in CAD (Solidworks) however my skills are saddly lacking.
Basically any good tuts or designs i can work with? I plan to get the final parts water cut.

freemill is a CAM program, so only really good if you want G code.
Solidworks is good but rhino is easier to use, basically you want a dxf file which most cutting places can accept. Once i'm back in sydney happy to help you draw a disk up if you get stuck (get back 25th). _________________ ( •_•)

I think we may be suffering from excess optimism. Do not fear, I am sure that it will be rectified come the 14th.

Nice! Weapon looks nasty as Even tho the aluminium is thin itll be pretty strong being shaped like that. Curious to see how it all pans out! _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

Small update on the yet to be named ant weight. Its a verticle spinner/grinder bot.
Its running on 3x 160mah nanos, some of thoes hacked ESC's and 50:1 HP's.
The weapon is a Dremil grinder tool attached strait to a brushless. Next update will include some sort of perspex chassis.
