The great NSW bot builder boat mod-off
Just got my new NQD hydro ebay boat... seems fairly decent outta the box actualy! But it'll be modded very soon.
Here's a quick test vid in the bath showing the propulsion.

Took it to Bronte Beach for testing yesterday, that's on stock, as in i've done nothing at all to the boat, it's as it came from the factory...ie, not that fast Hmm, time to break out the 18v dewalts... _________________ ( •_•)
I might break out the dual Astro 40's @ 24v.... Maybe even my 40cc Huski chainsaw... _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Mmmm..... Submarine..... Now there is an idea.... I've got a nifty one half built already, just have to fill it up with CO2 and give it a hit and it will flogg the pants off any of the boats you guys have _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Eheh today was hillarious.
The boat on 7.2v is pretty lame, but 12v... damn kewl!
In the dual between me and glen, one collision flipped glens boat completly over
Oh also, we had a great time playing with this little $40 toy rc micro aircraft of jeffs, and well done andrew w... LOL he flew it out into the lake Andrew went swimming hehe.
Hmm might scrap the whole control it came with and stick in some proper rc gear now. _________________ ( •_•)

lol yeah the tunnel hull makes a great flipper.
happy i got my boats shocking cavitation problem solved though, ill bust out the 5 minute epoxy and glue some little fabric strips on over the props to stop it for good and it should go straight and fast it was going as fast as anguses on 12v for a while there until the batteries died and it got filled with water XD

damn that was a sick ass lake, was like swiming through a sea of poo.
The plane is stuffed as when u turn it on it starts straight away and doesnt react to radio so me thinks ill be giving jeff 40 bucks so he can buy a new one.
SORRY JEFF
Th thing did fly 3/4 teh way across that huge lake and even had it up long enough to have some birds chasing after it _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics
