I can see all our ambulance-chasing personal injury lawyers setting up office in India - there clearly aren't many there now!

Eh, 2 billion indians over there, whats a few more or less ?
(note, not my opinion, but clearly the opinion of most given their typical regard for safety)

Entertaining that they can bleat on about "total disregard for international safety regulations and standards" while outside humans scale 6 stories of construction on bamboo scaffolding without any regard for safety.

These must the high-tek guys, they actually have wireless remote!!, unlike the earlier video showing a son-of-whyachi-style (well, a low budget indian version of it anyway) spinning away with a few bricks between it and peoples feet.

I wouldnt even be game to hold the tether cable showed in that video, it looked like an electrocution waiting to happen even before it got to the robot.

I dont think the lawyers would bother, theres no point in suing people if they dont have money to take, and these guys clearly dont. Perhaps the event organisers might be good for few bob, but then again, given their arena, I doubt it. Smile

Remember kids, To Combat Robots that are used to chewing on steel and titanium opponents for breakfast, you're just a big squishy bag of soft jelly running at very low amperage.. Smile

India is a great place, but having witnessed their traffic for 2 months, its clear where their robot driving skills evolved. Its not worth having a rant about, that's just the way things are over there. Sad

An awesome abuse of engineering ability. It's robotic, and remote controlled...

Just noticed the robowarsNSW youtube page has over 360 subscribers - if anyone's keen to do a tutorial video on anything robot related (even simple things) then let me know happy to upload it there. Smile

Hmm, happy to give you the log in details to kick off uploads, my upload speeds are so ridiculously slow, something like 7-8hrs for a 5min video at 720p... Shocked

Yep, that is a tad slow. I can do some uploading in the background and its probably best not to flood the channel with content too quickly.
