How many robots are going to be there this year ?

The Victorian contingent is going to be a bit smaller this year Sad. At this stage it looks like just myself and Gary's crew.
I should be able to bring 2 robots. I only have one radio (Spektrum DX6), so I'll need another driver and the use of a Spektrum radio.

We can loan you a radio, we are going to be short staffed to.

Matt can’t get away from work so it’s just Rob and Me.

Sounds like I need to get offical and ask for a roll call. Can everyone who "absolutely definitely" will have a running bot for Battleshed please list their teams and bots?

To start, Team Overkill will be there with Scissorhand's brother, Evil Twin Twisted Evil Just like my usual bot, with added nastiness!

Oh well, less robots more fights. Smile
I'm sure there'll be 1 or 2 new guys there without running robots who would love to drive your spare bot Andrew. Wink
EDIT:
Ok, and team dyrodium will be there with Catastrophe which I garantee will live up to its name in some way or another. Laughing

Looks like im not going to make it.
As i have feared and why i havent committed to competing is a number of jobs have overlapped due to stupid architects and i had a feeling weeks ago it was going to happen.
So have fun and ill catch up asap Wink

What voltage do you need? I have a pile of unused 12 volt, 550 sized motors you can for free.

18v but its not the motors that need replacing.. been using these same gearboxes for near 2 years and they are starting to break (pins coming out, gears breaking etc), time to replace them for some fresh ones.. thanks anyway

I'm only bringing one robot Sad. Just found that my idea of mounting the Bunnings 125mm wheels to drill shafts didn't work Sad. (The wheels have a 3/8" shaft.)

Jake/Russell do you guys make 125mm wheels for a drill ? If you do I'd be interested in at least 4.
