Considering that all three are finnishing on the 9/03/2006 I doubt if these are cached. Also since they are being sold by a guy calling himself rogerplant from Somerset I am not sure if your info is correct Aaron. _________________ Get Some!!!

WBC was definitely sold to another UK guy, its on there web page (guys who built merlin IIRC?)
That's James Profile on the FRA forums. It's been like that for months... Also on the http://www.xbotz.com/ website, there is a picture of WBC, James is suppose to be using it for demos and such.
Also reading the WBC ebay auction, it's not the full robot.
quote:
Wheely Big Cheese
mark 1 shell
complete with wheels , flipper, power box and gear box casings plus some brackets, flipper hinges etc.
This is the real thing, made from Titanium, not the plastic toy.
As last used in RW series 4 and RW Extreme 1. Still with battle scars and house robot damage.
It has no internal components.
Could be rebuilt as a display model.
It's just the shell and some left over parts. James Baker bought the complete WBC MK II a while ago and I guess that's why he is bidding on the rest of the parts for spares... _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Search ebay on wikipedia and around the bottom of the article will be some really weird things people sold/put on for sale such as...
Air guitar (imaginary!) $5.50!
Almost-finished glass of water that was beleived to be drunk by elvis presly for $455
Baptized vauxhall VX220
Lotus sports car for 50 pence !
A single pixel to put on your website for 21 days-$100
Another that isn't listed is gum spat out by justin timberlake for $3000!
They still sell air guitars. One comes with an air case and costs one dollar. Another is $10! _________________ It seemed like a good idea on paper...

Ey... ebay is like a dark ally way at night... don't know what you're doing and you'll be rolled for all your money.
Goes to show... there's a lot of idiots who buy this stuff off ebay... In personal opinion ebay has declined in quality slowly over the last few years, I hardly buy anything from it anymore, now that the aussie online hobbystores have finaly come of age! _________________ ( •_•)

I've seen the state that the MKII version of WBC was in when James bought it. I have bought 2 robots of of ebay myself, and they where both in a much better condition than that one.
As to the decline, the really interesting stuff i can never get anymore, i make a genuine off on a bomb disposal unit chassis, and in the last 10 seconds a bidding bot outbids me so i have no chance of making a higher bid. Now that is just wrong from my point of view.
I do alot of biding and buying on Fleebay,so I reckon half of me hole robot will be built with parts off Ebay .
But those bidding bots are EXTREMLY ANNOYING,you think you've got it then when you refresh the page BANG someone else has stolen it .
But at one stage I did see a KFC chicken nuget shaped like australia ,it went for about $5.00 or somthing I think

Well considering those motors are only £750 each, I'm guessing at least USD$1000.... _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Lem's are great for a disk, but for drive i dont find them that interesting. You need at least a heavy or like in this case a superheavy to even get enough batterypower in. I would not want to feed this thing with A123 or Lipo.
