Plates were about 15 degrees out of alignment. So basically impossible to mount. Bolts were very soft half stripped them first time trying to pull it apart.
Bearings were pretty stiff but they might loosen up after a bit of use.
I know what you mean, the problem was they shipped them to me loose, so i just tightened them all without the thought to put them on a flat surface first so the ends would line up.
After your ones I redid them all by put the gearbox on a flat surface then re-tightened the bolts.
But while I didn't have any trouble with the screws stripping on any of them though I do agree it's a soft metal.
I guess its why they added the through bolts on the newer ones, to keep them all stable.

Did anyone find a source for wheel hubs for these motors ?
I have a set to tinker with and have to figure out how to wedge them into I.G's shock-mounted drive rig. Keyed output shaft has me scratching my head a bit. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
