...and that's why EOs are so few & far between! Whether or not you get a huge turn out, you have earned some big-time credibility in the community for trying.

Yeh well at least we should get some new builders from the ants. If it doesn't end up too big the edge seem pretty keen for continued support so might try again in the summer when QLD is a bit more attractive for a holiday.

Sorry Steve. I.G. is still in bits at the moment. Sad

I might try some of those new magnum gearboxes on it when I have some $ to spare - but I'm trying to get my car painted at the moment, which is an event that involves far too many 0's on cheques to make spending any cash on bots or travel at the moment feasible.

Sean might be able to put you in touch with Neweyn and some other vics..

Well met with the edge again today for about 2hrs. Everything is starting to come together bit more. Quite a few things starting to come together. Thinking single day due to the lack of interstate interest but look at this event more in terms of a stepping stone for future public events.

As I said in workshop thread I am keen to run through what the current plan is on the weekend when all you guys are around.

We also should have enough cash to do the roof upgrade the plan is to be able to look down through it at the robots from above if possible.

So the prize money has been confirmed by the Edge. We will be giving away $500 total.

The breakdown for both feathers and ants.
1st - $150
2nd - $75
3rd - $25

Also medals for 1st place for feathers and ants have been donated by ShockBots Team. So big thanks there.

So there is bit of an incentive to to get your robots ready QLD.

They appear to be using the fairyweight name which I am sure will confuse people.

Yeah, but if I put down Ant weight it comes up with 0.454g weight limit. Which is confusing too

Roofing material has been ordered. I am also in the process of ordering the new sheets of polycarb.

I am now really broke hopefully edge cash comes through soon. Sad

Would everyone be able to do arena build/fix day next weekend.
