OK, I have made some changes to the Announcements section.

It is now to be used specifically to inform readers of *Upcoming* events of interest to Roboteers.

Post a topic with a informative header subject - including State, Name, date (and year), location, make it sticky or announcement (or ask a mod to) and off you go.

*After* the event has occurred, a Mod will move it to the state specific information area (or other relevant area), leaving this area clear for upcoming events only.

Builders meetings and other events that you wouldnt want the general public showing up to are probably best mentioned in state-specific information.

I will link to this page from the RoboWars Homepage for people to find out when to expect the next open-to-the-public event.
