Its funny you mention that because I did do something subtle so you can tell who won the fight, I wont tell you what exactly, let you figure it out but you can tell who won the fights from the menus.

Thanx all, glad you liked it and glad my zooming overall worked out, Am sure occasionally I ended up focusing on an empty floor but it paid off with the many close ups.
I had just bought the camera a month before and wasnt thinking that I was going to make a DVD so experimented a bit as it got me re-ineterested in photography again.
Happy with the filming and happy with how the menus ended up.
Thats really all the DVD is.
There are some things I would do different next time regarding the camera settings so I learnt a few things myself.

i was quite suprised how little glare there was in most of the fights considering a lot of other though polycarb work ive seen.

on a slightly off topic.
the proposed dates by mark for 2008 events last year had
"Victorian State Title, Round 2 Final 07/08 - April 13th "
Im assuming that it has been pushed back and/or no longer existent. Would that be correct? (sorry to be a pain in the ass guys was randomly flicking though the wiki and saw it so thought i would ask as thats a month away)

Thanks for noticing, that was something I was mindful of and it was my first time filming but these are the things I learnt for anyone interested.

1.Stand close to the Polycarb

2. Move slightly left or right when you see reflections and readjust where you stand as needed.

3. At the start of each fight if you notice someone with a loud t-shirt standing next to you, politely ask them to move a foot or so. I did a couple of times and doubt anyone was bothered by it. Your worst nightmare would be tennis players, umpires and of course Ronald Macdonald. Those sidetracked safety vests where my worst issue.

Anyways simple tips, Stand close, move when needed and tell people with loud Tshirts to Rack off, politely of course. Very Happy
