The season trophy goes to the driver/team. The bots themselves accumulate their own points as you can change bots between rounds.
You will still gain notoriety if your bots are repeated winners but these conditions were thrashed out and agreed upon by the mojority last year, so Glen, you cheatin B`stard as Seb was the nominated driver for Kang, he gets the point score.
Noone can begrudge you for not wanting anyone else to drive Kang against Jolt but if Kang had made it to the final it would have lead to controversy. [Needs discusion.] Possibly an agreement between nominated driver and builder? Or if builder does not want to risk it, must forfiet match?
We realy want to encourage as many bots from builders as possible but you can only nominate one bot to earn you team points for each round.
Build day/ driving practice/ strategy planning.
11th/12th March Sat. and/or Sun. ( I`ll be here both, building and testing!)
I didn`t find the fold up chairs yesterday while parts shopping. Fans, I suspect by our next event the weather will be cooler but we should all keep our eyes out for cheap fans so we can set up a fresh air flow through the control room.
The arena needs some welding and some MDF braces (see Chris). Mostly cost free work. Thinking car radiator fans/ exausts with MDF housings for stink/ heat venting?

P.S.
Indeed Nick!
El B will be in full developement this year, given the developments of Andrew H`s (Dumheads) developements in simple CO2 pnumatics, 200 watt scooter drive speed and reliability, the precision of ackerman and tank steering combined.. Thick, rubber armour and remote, variable blade/wedge ground clearance, air intakes, exaust ports and sexy graphics!

I should learn how to stick weld properly so I can use the stick mode on the TIG and not cart the argon bottle around _________________ The Engine Whisperer

Has Mario conned you into going to Belgium to help him finish his house renovation in order for you to get a full pneumatics setup for a robot from him _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
