24V worth of batteries is heavier then 12V. Takes up more room too. And can the drive motors take 24V?
The weapon motor draws too much current when spinning up. It takes all the juice away from the wheels which don't get enough to be able to turn over. Thats why he said he was going to add seperate Li-Pol's for the drive to run off.

There could be another reason it can't drive & spin up: if he was running on a low voltage or his cells were sub-C size, there could have been enough voltage sag that the Victors reset. The chassis is SO small that I cant see F-Bomb fitting a full 24V of CP3600 cells in there.
@ Daniel: the motors will work on 24V if you dual rate your radio to 50% _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Yes, I know. I remember suggesting that somewhere else a few months ago. I was just throwing out examples.

I guess its sort of on topic; if anyone finds pictures of F-bomb with the covers off, please post a link on the forum. Everyone will be interested to see how Dick manages to cram all the electronics in. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
