I'd very much like to, but it too, is uncertain at this point..
I'm extremely busy with Work at the moment, which is good, since its helping me recover from my rather lean christmas period (which was leaner and longer than usual thanks to my spending too much money on Robot parts and Event promotion just prior to my usual lean christmas period).
If work settles back down to the normal load and some other Robot-event things that I have in the pipe-line *dont* happen, then I
might
make it. but if they do happen, then I will likely to be too busy dealing with them to make the Trek at that time of year..
I'll do my best, but I'm not going to be able to say for sure for a few weeks yet..
Just so you can plan accordingly, now that we have a regular local series going, I doubt that you NSW guys will be swamped by an influx of Victorians (outnumbering you 2:1) like we did last year - at least that should help ease the angst over "ganging up".
None of us had had a proper fight for 6 months (since RoboWars 1) last year, so everyone was keen to get there and compete. Now we have events planned for every 6-8 weeks here, theres less pressure to travel the countryside to fight.
I dont know about others, but perhaps if you could move your "big event" back a bit later in the year (September/October) I would probably have more chance of being able to attend. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
