8 weeks - sweet! Now I just need to get both my bots operational... Whats the deal with teams entering more than one bot? Can I put Jolt in the tag team and Subliminal in the annhilator?

I thought it polite to let everyone know that due to circumstances beyond my control the likelihood that the Rotwang team attending the annihilator has become less certain. Sad

Are any of the other Vic teams out there making the pilgrimage this year? I forgot to ask at the builders meeting yesterday.

I'd very much like to, but it too, is uncertain at this point..

I'm extremely busy with Work at the moment, which is good, since its helping me recover from my rather lean christmas period (which was leaner and longer than usual thanks to my spending too much money on Robot parts and Event promotion just prior to my usual lean christmas period). Sad

If work settles back down to the normal load and some other Robot-event things that I have in the pipe-line *dont* happen, then I might make it. but if they do happen, then I will likely to be too busy dealing with them to make the Trek at that time of year..

I'll do my best, but I'm not going to be able to say for sure for a few weeks yet..

Just so you can plan accordingly, now that we have a regular local series going, I doubt that you NSW guys will be swamped by an influx of Victorians (outnumbering you 2:1) like we did last year - at least that should help ease the angst over "ganging up". Wink

None of us had had a proper fight for 6 months (since RoboWars 1) last year, so everyone was keen to get there and compete. Now we have events planned for every 6-8 weeks here, theres less pressure to travel the countryside to fight.

I dont know about others, but perhaps if you could move your "big event" back a bit later in the year (September/October) I would probably have more chance of being able to attend.

Hmm, its a bit late to move it, and October would be quite close to Robowars, so The Victorian crew might be even less inclined to come up. Are any Other interstate teams "very likely" to come to the Annhilator? If we can get even 3 or 4 interstaters coming, we should go head on the original date or close to it.

If we can't get so many people as last year, perhaps we could cut back to just one day, or change the format a bit to guarantee everyone more matches.

Its not certain yet, but the big RoboWars event *may* be moved to Mid-January this time around. have to discuss things with SideTracked and see what our options are.

So moving your big event to September/October wouldnt necessarily clash too badly with it. even if it does end up being in December.

June/July has just swept up on us a big quickly this year.. Sad

Sorry Guys no Arachnophobia this year...

Was looking forward to slugging it out with Glen like last year, and seeing if Arachno's new back end can hold out for more than two hits from Valen.

But a new 4 month year old addition to the family is going to slow things down until he's old enough to hold a R/C controller (like Andrews lad!).

Well I havn't seen any clear dates put up yet. Chris keeps saying its 7 weeks to go which is 11/12 of june, but I got the impression it was 2/3 of july. What is (or what isn't) going on?
