Lasercut 3mm 6061 aluminium
Hi everyone, I'm designing some parts for my ICRA fighter and planning to 3D print in polycarbonate. To make this an easier experience I need a new Y-Carriage for my 3D printer as the current one I have is made of thin metal that has developed bending over time making it impossible to level properly.
So basically I designed a 220mmx220mmx3mm carriage I need cut in 6061 aluminium or similar plate. The local services in brisbane all have a $200 minimum order which is not ideal, so if anyone knows of any services which could help me, that would be great.
I think 6061 aluminium should be the best choice otherwise 5005 aluminium sheet is my other option but I'm thinking it may bend? not entirely sure. I'm looking to spend less than $100 including material cost (lower the better).
Thanks!

Just a heads up man, PC is crazy hard to 3D Print without warping. You need a warm enclosure and high temp hot end. _________________ ( •_•)
