Don't for the love of god get the first stage changed to metal...

I don't know if i trust the new style ones... The old ones were pushed to their limit and handled it with no problems, but the new ones are built much cheaper and expected to reach the same limit...

I tried it with a couple of hammer drill motors I have here... with no load they spark a lot, with a load they get way too hot.

Has anyone heard any feedback on these scopes? I am seriously looking at buying the DSO1102B model (100Mhz), the specs look much better than the older DSO1060, 8060, 1200 etc.

No... the motors are too current hungry. If they stalled you'd have a fried controller.

I'd like to keep them cheap and affordable, so I think the 75mm about $2.90, 100mm $3.80 125mm $4.80
