Will this be a round robin, or a double elimination event? I don't mind either, but it seems there may be a bit too many robots to do the round robin. I'm counting Cobra, Visceral, Snak Masheen, Jolt, El Bravo, Late, Cyborg, Grassy's bot, Borts bot so far. That's 9 robots, a big round robin!

Given the numbers, it looks like a double-elimination. If we get ten bots and we run from 10am to 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break, then we have to get through 45 fights with one starting every 9.33 minuites . If we had only 8 bots, we would still have a match starting every 15 minutes. With 6 bots, it's a more leasurely 28 minutes between starts, so I think that is where the roundrobin format stops being better for us.

We can always spread the comp over two days or run later into the evening, but that might not suit everyone...
