There where 7 feathers in the demonstration. My 2, a wedge called Mean Machine and David Calkins 4 "robot hockey" robots.
Yesterday afternoon we went into downtown Mumbai and had a look at the museum where I was stoped and asked for an autograph. It was fun at first but I would like to go outside and not be stopped by people asking how to build a robot.
We are in the paper this morning. I have pinched a copy and will scan it when I get back. It quotes the Indian driver of the hockey bot that I flipped into the roof even after he was imobalised (David told me to keep going) as saying afterwards that he felt "rapped" and that we are "evil people". It doesn't mention that he was laughing at the time but it clearly mentions that it was an Australian driver who did it. They take thier cricket very seriuosly over here.
Now I just have to get home.

A good news paper artical, except I didn't realise that Avenger was the flipper. I guess they got the names mixed up.

My brother is home. Our robots had one last win.
Devastator 1 - Baggage handlers 0 Very Happy

The end of Devastator's flipper arm busted through the side of the suit case and one of the baggage handlers in Brisbane put if through his leg. And the best bit is we didn't get in trouble. Very Happy

So thats revenge for breaking and loosing Sidewinder. Very Happy

When does Andrew get his DVD?

Is it strange not have Indian groupies flocking behind you telling you they love your bot?

Here are the good photos from my phone (long post):

The CO2 bottle that was supplied with the leaky valve.

David

The four hockey bots

Hockey bot "Green".

Susan

Beer bash

Joe

Mean machine, Spunky and Agent 7 (I think).

My pit table.

The arena being built.

The stands.

The stage.

The arena while one of the smoke machines was being tested.

The arena lit up.

The external flame poofers.

How the stage was lit. It made it difficult to work.

The laser show.

Yeah. It just needed the same thing that fixed The Aggressor, Adversary, Scarifier, Sidewinder, the first version of Avenger and every other robot I've designed. Bigger wheels.
And it does Sewer Snake dancing. I didn't know that. Why didn't Andrew tell me he made it do that.
