Best feel good movie of all time

Recently I just can`t get over Napoleon Dynamite.
Anyone else seen it? I have two copies so far, one for sharing and one for me to watch over and over again. Also a "Vote for Pedro" tee shirt. Think I will have to go buy the talking Napoleon Figurine.
Disturbing thing is he reminds me very much of a cross between a dead friend and Glen Rose! Shocked

LOL I watched that and thought it was boring. Laughing
For feel good movies though, I still think spirited away is awesome.
And for CGI/Animation TITAN AE although fairly old now is a pretty awesome movie, plus it was one of the first to use CGI in with animation. Smile

I dont know about all-time, but I recently enjoyed "The Worlds Fastest Indian" very much.

Slow paced in spots, but a well-told inspiration *true* story

lol otaku

i think jake and i can safely say "ice" is clearly the most touching and thought provoking piece of visual literature ever created.

the remote controlling of a car from a $2 toy set from k mart, the random and irrelevant helicopter explosion, the mysterious appearance and quick cutting towards the pornographic material of chasey lane (you better correct me on that jake, my knowledge of actresses is waning XD) all convey a beautiful and well thought out plot that clearly makes sense in all its aspects.

and as for the action scenes Shocked never have i seen such amazing feats of skill and awesome special effects. the actresses ability to KO a bodyguard at 3m range with a mere punch and some cleverly delayed sound effects puts this at the top of the list of best fight scenes ever created.

had it not been for that disturbing greek man chasing us around hurling $2 VCRs at us at the computer markets i would never have known what the perfect movie was...

now to review that other movie with the excessively muscular midget in it XD

Bit of an Anime Otaku myself...

I "only" have:
52 episodes of Full Metal Alchemist
26 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion
26 episodes of Trigun
100 episodes of Bleach
26 episodes of Cowboy Bebop
26 episodes of Samurai Champloo
60 episodes of Initial D
5 episodes of Macross Zero
6 episodes of GoldenBoy
48 episodes of Tekkaman Blade
40+ episodes of Ghost in the Shell
4 episodes of Area 88
&
Jeff's VHS copy of Akira I borrowed in 2004 Laughing

Only around 70Gb of Anime... Probably rivals Brett's MP3 collection or Glen's "adult entertainment" collection Laughing

Back tracking a little, Fastest Indian is terrific and we would all admire his backyard engineering skills! Check it out!

Contact? I love the Southpark review of it,, Mr Garrisson vomits Laughing

I have a collection of anima Andrew, I`ll dig some out for you.
Do you have all Elfin Lied? Iv`e only got the first one.
Would also like to se the rest of Gantz.

"feel bad' movies; Wolf Creek is lame O I just got my hands on 1980`s Cannibal hallocaust. Been banned for years, was siezed when it was released and the director and producer were going to go to jail for animal cruelty and graphic rape scenes. Most unpleasant film ever.

Aaron, thats your Akira, I got the DVD.

Angus, I understand how you may have found Napoleon Dynamite boring. Some just don`t find it funny but it`s a bit of a cult classic to many now.
