Jolt's all ready to go. It sounds like Roadkill, Cobra and El Bravo are definites. I don't recall anyone else confirming yet, although there are several more possibles like Jeff F. and the Planners.

Unfortunatly i'm going to have to pull out of this one, several reasons, primarly i'm first responce for my brigade this weekend (RFS), as some of the group have gone up to do a 'tour of duty' at the wollindilly fire.

I'll see you all next time

Looks like it may not be such a HUGE event, more of a practice and build day.
I`m afraid I will still be doing essembly in the morning and probably poking around in stinky drains.
I have to work back tonight, 3am at least, so ignore me if I just grunt when you get here,, nothing unusual Smile

dude you need a new CNC place.

Plan-F/G has recieved a new heart (aka IBC) and the brain transplant has been successfull.
I am tempted to call this thing the melinium falcon in honor of the amount of cross wiring in the thing. EG The IBC board plugs into the victor to provide it with servo pulses, which it gets via a socket that has a bunch of wires poked into it covered by hot glue leading to a whopping great 40 pin PIC and a radio. Its got 7 flashing lights on it.
I mean thats almost enough bling to be a kkerro bot ;->.
Did i mention we have a polycarb lid for certain configurations? And another made out of that stuff "for sale" signs for houses are made out of?

Roadkill is teh ready and packed. So Nick, i'm assuming tomorrow @ 9am i'll meet you somewhere around where you've dropped me off in the past (along that road parallel to the train line).
Also hope my bag fits in your car! It's fairly small... I don't remember if you've got rear seats, but should fit ok as long as you don't usualy fill your car to the brim with robot gear!
And Glen, i'll bring the wheels and belt, bring $15! Very Happy
Looking foward to the event, will be a welcome change from the horror of school... Rolling Eyes

The round robin format totally rocked today - we had some excellent matches without stressing out and finished right on time. The only bad part was not videoing any matches - there was plenty of action and drama Very Happy.

indeed was pretty awesome. especially jolt smashing roadkill into the air a good 15cm and causing the HIP and amtel chips + bec jumper to fall off the IBC Shocked

cobra went good. i feared the Gyro was on the way out but thankfully (in a way) the little bolt on connectors on the victors literally desoldered themselves... TWICE... on either side Confused so ill silver solder those on with new ring terminals. very happy with it and the forks non the less.
