thats probbly a result of the sensorless nature of the ESC.
it'd probbly just hose itself to get over the confusion.

Rolling Eyes got a 2000W (not a typo) brushless at work.

...it is meant to turn a 3-blade 16inch prop in some massive flying model.

...it (or a cousin of it) will be spinning up Malice of Forethought's weapon May-ish next year.

Very Happy oh baby.

Sounds interesting - any more specifications? What controller are you planning to use with it?

shame the controllers are made like sh*t XD. who knows if jeff got a pre production version but its without a doubt the shoddiest made electronic piece ive seen to date.

Gotta love bushless motors! I just used EDTsim to work out the Mag motor Makes 1,200W from a 24V 3.6AH Battelpack; my tiny NEU 1910 brushless motor gets exactly the same at about one tenth the weight Very Happy.

wow - that AXI motor is hot.

similar stats but the himark motor is about a quarter the price of the AXI motor....
can't beat the efficency of the AXI though....

edit - still figuring out the speedy. Looking to run 24 or 36V which could mean having to go up to a 120 speedy over the 60.......

looks like this may be a decent controller
http://www.sinusleistungssteller.de/index.html
can't see the fets on it though but it says it has 24 of them which is 8 per phase or 4 per leg.

Shocked They should be extra big FETs - the price for the smallest one is almost $1,200 AUD! The build quality looks good though.
