That's a nice amount of robots, and my new one may be running by then... I shall see.
I think we should stick with the long weekend, why not? It would be fun to have a three day event, even if the first day is simply getting things together.
So, are we going tornado tag teams like the first annialator? Not quite sure how this works, people will have to run me through it...
Hey, we could do a round robin even, it's over a total of three days so that's ample time for people to enjoy a fair chance at winning. Smile

Very Happy i wasnt thinking of a 3 day thing i think id be happy with just 1 day ,a round robin with 13 robots would be fun ,each robot would have 13 battles in one day ,and me with 2 bots would have to get a robot ready to battle 26 times lol yesterday with 7 battles was hard enough Shocked

I like the long weekend too. It's hard to do a 13 way round robin - there are about a week's worth of battles.

I hadn't really thought about it - Andrew mentioned something months ago but let's wait 'n see if Orbit gets built in time Wink. There really aren't many weeks until the event so we all have to get busy!

Jolt is getting a quick patch-up and I am trying to get the new version going at the same time. I still need to get the batteries and more drive motors shipped so the new version is a bit iffy...

Laughing I might only countersink four holes, there's a chance the ends might get mangled and i'll never get the wedge off. This way it's less likely, but will still stay on. Smile

Using the normal points system for contunuity,
The current totals for NSW 2006 series are,,,

Cobra 16!!!
Stealth 7
Orbit 7
Jolt 7
Roadkill 6
B. Mongrel 5
S. Sorry 5
Monolith 4
TWI 4
Kang 2
Retread 2
Singularity 2
Frank 1
Bob 1

The tape that was in my cam will not play, so sorry I could not capture any pics. Time for some new tapes.

With the long weekend event I think we should have one day, Sat? as a normal comp round and the others for Tag Team etc.

For the normal comp round, the Idea of a Round Robin with 13 plus battles each I was quiently thinking,,, "ARE YOU INSANE!!!" I don`t know if anyone could sustain a bot that long without therapy afterwards Shocked

It looks like Cobra is unbeatable this year, second place is looking very interesting though! I'm going to have to accelrate my undercutter version of Jolt to get a place this year.
