Very true! People with jobs really need to know the date as early as possible so holidays can be booked before workmates get in first. If one or two other guys book holidays during that period before I do, mine will get knocked back and I imagine it's the same in many other companies.

Prices for plane tickets won't start going up until 2 or 3 months before the event. Trust me, we have experiance in this sort of thing. Mad

13/14 feels better for some reason.

Virgin Blue is $109 each way from Sydney to Melbourne at the moment. 13/14 seems better to me as well.

I vote we NSW'ers road trip it, maybe hire a minibus? Could work out pretty cheap and fun!

Plus we need as many of us there as possible, need to hang onto our title as national event champions Wink

Hey, watch out we'll bring mouse out again next event also don’t forget that big annihilator trophy’s still perched on top of Mini Mower
So that makes the score 3-2 for National events, we might be able to break even next event for Victoria although Queensland might take first! Smile

Ah Ha! Now we see the REAL reason that nobody from Victoria could come up to the Annhilator! Laughing If we have the event this year and the defending champ doesn't attend, does the new winner get the trophy from Mini-mower anyway?
