After the last non-event, we need to put on a big one! I will be there with Jolt and a beetleweight (might be Slash, might be all new).

Sounds very hard-core, are you getting the Garolite from McMaster or elsewhere? I still have a full piece of CF I got from that local Southern Composites place - it looks identical to tthe US stuff and possibly cheaper after postage. Perhaps we can finally get the Beetleweight comp happening at the next event or two...

Sounds positive! I am spending the day working on wedges for Jolt, then beetleweights.

BTW: I still owe Angus and Andrew some beetle parts from before the last event. Do you want to wait until the 18th or get them earlier?

Did you owe me anything? As far as I remember I said i'd take the drives then andrew had a big hissy fit that they were his etc so yeah...
No more need for UHMW as I ordered 2 meters of the stuff Very Happy
And i've got my brushless working...
On the other hand, got any garolite spare? I was going to get some from the states but we decided it was too weak to send by post. Confused

Sounds great Chris, I thought we could get some cheap tin paint and go over it with a roller. What colour?

Just this night I have assembled parts on the table with fumbling hands and vague searches for missplaced tools.
Now I`m stuck for some long bolts, have to go shopping again.
Progress is being made so El B is on its way.
