Marayong XVIII season III

Marayong XVIII season III 27th May

Its just a short break tothe next event, seeing as the last one was delayed a week. Jolt will be there with a weapon that actually spins around sometimes and looking for payback (or at least some points).

Before that, we were going to have a build day, not sure when it was planned for???

Build day was planned last i heard for 13th May, also arena repairage day i think as it needs alot of work.

Next event Orbit will be same as minus new drive motors and wheels hopefully, also if anybody has any heatshrink that will work for 24 volt battery pack that they r willing to sell me i would be veryyy interested to know although isnt crutial as i think next version of Orbit ill be splitting the packs for better space saving and weight distribution and shi, will have to see but yeah

Hey, I wanted to dump them last year - wait for the next event - XIX Laughing

People probably don't need to know or care what season it is - how about we just make the next event Marayoung 19?

my personal fave was marryong YYYY-MM-DD
alternatly just number them like a tv show
marryong season 3 "eppisode" 7 (and a date)

everything sorts nicley and all the information anybody could want is right there

and if you want it shorter
marryong S03 E07
and if you want a running total to show off stick it on the end lol

We need something that rolls of the tongue easily; Marayong 18 is easy to say, while Marayong XVII, or Marayong 06-05-27, or Marayong S03 E03 is very cumbersome. Its not like we have weekly episodes (I wish!), its just eight events a year and there are few if any international events that have needed more than a simple number after their name. I also notice we usually only have two active event threads going; the last one and the next event coming up, so we hardly ever need a complex reference system. Let’s not over complicate things?
