ok well i went to the real robots site and im going to buy parts from mag number 1 and 2 because you get the complete cybot drive. that will cost $24 including postage.

Are these powerful enough to drive a 1 kg bot?

easily, i think cybot is like 2.5-3kg

there heavy, they run at 3.6v and there pretty chunky and are harder to mount than cybot drives.

You can run em at 7.2v

Wouldent cybot drives be heavyer with the solid rubber wheels?

your probably looking at around 80-100g per cybot drive.

DSE drive will push a cybot around on 3.6v like nothing, 6v and they will kick royal ass Cool The DSE drives have 250rpm output on 3.6v, so on 6v you looking at around 450RPM which is much faster then the toy cybot motors. For beetles, these drives are great, and simple to mount as well!

meh, at 7.2v these things have more push than you could shake a stick at (before that stick became entangled in the awesome amounts of wheel spin caused by the power!!)
