maybe
just gotta get to warehouse or something and get some HUGE cable ties in a massive bag as thats what will be holding batteries/rs80d in besides side stoppers etc (sounds dodgy but tis really quite strong and tight).
Then besides lid mounting and fifing failsafe and stuff its good to go. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

yeah was gonna say i dident overly like the idea of a cable tie holding an rs80d in rember the forces involved in orbit and the shock forces that go through a robot at any time. well your an "experianced builder" so i will let you go with it but personally i would use something else... *ponders the use of elastic bands for some random reason XD XD* _________________ as a shadow is seen and not heard i am here

Hey yall,
Orbits nearing completion minus small crap but overall the majority is good for rc testing (got batts and rs80d mounted good now).
When r we having the get together, hang out day, build and test day.
Im free whenever but wouldnt mind it this weekend or weekend after or whatever.

I would rather leave it until the weekend after next, as Jolt is once again just a pile of parts. I can come along this weekend if anyone else is going to Jeff's place _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

I`m planning to stay home the next couple of weekends and put all else aside until El B is finished
Anyone wanting to come over this weekend would be great to help me keep up my motivation. Also wanting to over pressurise the old air bottles and need volunteer bots to bash them around. Ultimately (following weekend?) to have them Jolted! and see what happens

so whats the general wanting here, looks like people would rather have it the weekend after this current one so they can get bots done etc etc a bit more.
Orbits readyfor testing now so whenever yall want to have it is good by me. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

Correct for me, but if there are people going this weekend, I will come too, maybe with the older chassis for anti-flip testing - that old log is going to take a beating _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Um, both? I want to test Jolt out in the arena and that won't be possible until the weekend after next, even if its just Jeff 'n me there. If other people turn up this weekend, then I will at least drop in. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
