Well, its a bit late, but if anyone feels like using the botclips.net server, its there . . .

http://www.botclips.net/gallery2

For big stuff, use the windows xp or java thing, as sending it by HTTP POST seems to have a 15mb limit, not to mention no progress bar (besides, the xp publish to the web thing takes less effort lol)

Anybody else from get an email for a uni student looking to do a documentary on their robot or was it just me? I'll have to get Avenger and Hellbringer looking pretty. Or even better, Sidewinder and Prancing Queen.

Havn't heard from the jazz theater lady yet.

Must have just been you, Daniel.

Another thing that caught my attention at the event was the way that Brett talked to Mel. It always impresses me when a man treats his significant other with love and respect. Good on you, Brett.

Lucky for me her university said she couldn't use that idea for the assigment then.

Btw, my brother has been posting more videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/kkeerroo

Well I loved the event(took me a while to post that didn't it, was fishing up in qld for a while after and have just been TOO busy)
Although KO didn't do too well due to mecanical problems the dizine i'm very happy with becuase even with the limited control it did well. So at least for once I'm happy with the robot.
See builders reports soon as I don't even know for sure what i'm doing yet
There was also just too many good robots there it was one hell of a weekend.
Can't wait for the next also whens there a dvd lol

If you dont wanna use the gallery thing, I can just give you an FTP account, might make life easier.

To use FTP to upload to Gallery on botclips.net

username: upload_botclips.net
pass: guest
server: botclips.net

This will put the files in the tmp directory (http://www.botclips.net/tmp)
which can then be put easily into gallery.

I tried signing up for an account and uploading some files with the windows xp publish files thing but windows keeps encountering "problems" so I have only put some up and four of those have been doubled.

Hmm, weird, seems to work alright here. Ill clean up the duplicates, you might have more luck with the java client or the FTP method.

fireftp in firefox seems to work pretty well and is free free.
(just a tiny extension) click and drag out but you have to use the buttons in the program to copy in.

if you have broadband IE isnt too sucky at FTP.
well ok it is but it dosent have a nag screen like most of the other FTP things
