I have found somewhere to stick the videos. They are taking a while to upload so don't get upset if they are not all up right now. They are also not in order because the tapes from the weekend are not labeled.

This link is better.

Cheese vs Bender is good, but the flames didn't show up that well in the 320 x 200 version of the video. The one you showed me last night was better.

Where's Pranicing Queen or Sidewinder or the Wacky Race? Very Happy Hurry up, I'm bored here at work, I need videos.

damn, just watching my first fight against scoopy and she wasn't going to self right so I would have won if I hadn't flipped again.

Ahh well, I would have felt bad finishing the match like that so early in the competition, and it all worked out in the end Smile

It would have solved my gas usage problem if I had one or two flip fights each time Razz

yep, I think the first flip that landed back on the wheels bent the self righting arm a bit.

The funny thing is that my battery back was cable tied onto the inside of the rear top panel, as a temporary measure - and the only bot I was worried about for that was scoopy.
Of course I drew one of the first fights and it was against scoopy!!
I figured the chances of getting the battery hacked were still pretty small, but the first chop went straight into the pack!
So, I ended up running that whole fight with 3 sliced cells in the pack, but it still worked fine apart from that one slow flip Smile

yeah it seems scoopy pulled the arm all the way up but it was not quite enough to flip it back over.

Some stronger self righting arms are in order i think!

O.K l've seen a re-run and l concede that your words are most true. Congratulations. So you are the bender of my Scoopy's wings then huh? Mad

Yup, why do you think l spent that extra time sticking your bots name plate to the window next to Stealth - just prior to the draw. Wink

Do you know what the disparage on my face looked like when l discovered someone had a flipper for this event? No offence, but Scoopy just loathes them flippers and she was most delighted to previously think that there were not going to be any! So l had to go for the battery kill and fast.

Someone kindly offered me a bit of advise in that area by suggesting that l weld a huge fat spring coil to the back of the wings - in which case Scoopy could rebound in a zing! Confused lm not sure which part of me agreed that it sounded like a fabulous idea at the time...but only some testing will tell with that one! And it will certainly be alot of fun...

*Mel runs off to design Scoopy MK 11 - the flipper Twisted Evil

Currently uploading 15 more of the kerison videos for those who cannot download them from ZippyVideos.com

http://aaron.botclips.net/videos/RW3/ Give it 2 hours for them all to be finished. If the files are smaller then 10MB, don't download it... Except for Orbit VS Skeletor, download that one, it's quick Laughing

Thanks for the videos, gents.

The commentator did a good job explaining the matches to the audience.

@ Prof. David E calkins,
All feathers in the Aussie comps so far.
We don`t yet have the facilities or many bots for the bigger classes.

A listing of positions of the event would be good though, I don`t even know who came third yet!
