yersh well he says hes gunna bring a scooter powered wedge just for the first time to this event to see how everything works and what not,

but electric karts... i guess having 15 scooter motors and drives leaves a lot of possibilities Razz

im hoping for this event i can get kangs IBC back in time and get that moving for the last event, claw back a bit of dignity lol Razz

I will be there to defend the trophy with the next version of Jolt. Think of it as a testing ground for Robowars Wink

@ Glen, can`t be a recent order, Angus and I are hanging for new stock of the chains and sprockets.
Who is this new guy?

I have ordered a new scooter drive and asked for spare belts so I`m planning for something with two scooter drives. Also two 9.6 drives at 12v since 24 volts to two XU1s from 7amph slas does seem to blow up a single drill trigger.

Still working on Russel`s drill trigger controlers. Will work great if standard radios could give about 90 degrees of movement. Evil or Very Mad

Haha Glen, I cant believe you were up at 5am!! damn man.... But GL with your test!

Jeff you probably want to get onto Oatley about the parts you want, they mentioned to me that they didnt order a LOT because the sales for it had slowed up too much to keep large amounts of stock on hand, that was one of the reasons I went to pick it all up AND grabbed a little more than I needed... actually alot more than I needed, lol.. but you never know eh? The container arrived Monday, and they've been unpacking and filling orders since it arrived, web site guy comes in on tuesday, so there wont be any rush on it until that time I'd rekon Smile

Hmm, first plan for me is to build something simple just to play with while I spend time building what I want...

Sorry I didn't get to become a part of this before, but I had no idea it was even ON in australia Sad

Roadsmear has its all new cordless screwdriver wheels done (total fatness Cool ) So ill be there ready for a beetleweight rematch! With new roadkill however... might take too long so might make something from junk lying around just to have something. Hey lindsay... is speed hump repairable? Sad that melay caused alot of damage to the both of us! Shocked

hehe actually Speed Bump did not take that much damage, there was a few nasty gouges out of the armour, but they did not make it through, and I had the tread ripped off a red bunnings wheel.

One side of the armour got bent up and almost off, bending the chopping board motor mount where it was held on. But technically if I had shoved all the insides back in I could have bent it down and all back into shape, and been good to go....

Except! my radio controller died... I am hoping it was just the crystal, so I will tes that when i get some time, otherwise I have one sprare radio anyway.

But I think I will rebuild speedbump anyway, time for a new base, and a better way to hold the armour on, and more batteries...

or since it is only 6.8kg I could build two and have a cluster bot hehehe
