Yet another great day!

Ya know guys, I really love the smell of frying electronics. Very Happy

Edit:- Found one brown cap with "S" logo on the front.
Also found Keros 2xvenom battery packs.

Just PM mailing address if these items are needed before the next meet here.

Damn straight, armature smoking is addictive by the looks of it Cool

I have to say the coolest part of the day was Marauder making the arena all flex 4-5 inches creating a huge turbulence to those of us standing in the path of the rushing air....

I was wondering why I could only find 2 packs when I got home. Bright green packs, how did we miss seeing them? If you can discharge them fully you can hang on to them till we see you next time.

Hellbringer lost a pinion gear on a motor after 5 seconds in its first fight with Sproing and that motor then fried 2 minutes later. Andrew managed to leave all 5 spare motors at home so that ruined Hellbringers day.

Scarifier has been beaten up badly enough that it should be retired. But give me 30 minutes to replace the crispy motor and it'll be ready for another fight. I actually said something similar to that 3 times today. Vertical Limits and Prancing Queen really chewed up the outer armour but the innner armour is still unscratched. It went 3 minutes with a fight with Sproing before I realised I lost one side of the drive train before the fight started, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't turn right.
The weapon lasted 1 fight before being useless. Thats about average for me.

Prancing Queen was a surprise. It went into 2 melees and even though it was almost impossible to drive in a predictable pattern, its weapon perfromed beautifully. I think it caused more damage to Scarifier then Vertical Limits did. The Vertical Limited referance made by Aaron is from the end of day melee where Vertical Limits and Prancing Queens spinners met. Scarifier was also too close to the hit and when we saw parts fly everywhere we all thought it was more of Scarifier's armour. None of use realised it was actually Vertical Limits teeth which had been unwelded from the disk.

I hope someone got some good video of Prancing Queen because we didn't.

Congrats all round and great to hear it was a fun and exciting day!

I was only joking about demanding videos; probably in the middle of the event! Laughing

I have emailed Brett the rough copies of the fights. Marto and the Keros are going to email me their footage and I will try to make a better quality presentation.

The Marauder vs Marto's bot fight was left out due to boredom. The Marauder vs Sproing fight was left out as it can be seen in the highlights video (if you don't blink).

@Keros and Marto, would you snail mail me your tape of the event so that I can keep the quality high? I have noticed the editing computer has a dvd burner.

Yes I can send you a dvd assuming I can figure out how to drive it.

I only grow palms; Alex, Bangalow, Golden Cane, Cocos and Majestics.

It is taking forever to email Brett copies of the lores videos, around 2.5M. The first copy I made was about 2 minutes and forty-one seconds. It's file size was 670 Mb. I am glad I did not try to send that one.

Is there a limit to the file size you can email?

Telstra blocks emails over about 15Mb. I can't send the medium resolution videos. They took hours to export to the smaller wmvs, buger.

I have joined putfile this morning and am trying to upload a video now. The site may be very busy or something. I may have just done it wrong. Nothing seems to be happening.

I logged in with an inventive name; philiptaylor.

I have emailed Brett with the lo res last night.
