Thanks guys! Yeah, life is a bit crap at the moment and I really wish I still had my old Glock 19 . Still, it could have been much worse and the house is going to be locked up like a bank vault from now on. Didn't lose any robot stuff either!

your alarm triggers by silently rining you poping up video on your phone when you speak it comes out of the house sound system and if you so desire it fires the tazer to fry that biach.

I'm just thinking of a camera system triggered by the alarm (which I didn't turn on that day)

It looks like we lost over $10K now - virtually all portable electronics; Laptop, brand new video camera, Still camera, three PDAs, electric shaver (what's up with that?), watches and jewelery etc, etc. The police, as usual, have no idea. Thanks for all the comiserations- its definitely helping me feel better.

hmmmmm i got it get some of that electric fencing wire and run it around all the windows and doors it will put a buzz in their step then when the cops ask you about it just say you thought they were a set of fairy lights XD

asa for the electric shaver if you notice a few people wandering around with missing eyebrows you know that they got hit with that (could imagine it "gimmi ya money or i will shave ya eyebrows" probably not the most threatening thing on the planet but funny)

and for all portable devices just rig up the shocking parts of my shock tanks up to em so that when they leave the house they cop 24v of shock not just the 3v that it pumps out as it is XD (thats where you would love to have cameras watching that spectical they would jump to the moon and back)

finally stick stickers on the fence saying "demmolition robot guards these premisis enter at own risk. If you get hurt by it and still live drive ya own F*$&ing stupid sorry ass to the hospital" and rig it so you get the sound of jolt spinning up happening when ever the doors, gate(if any) garage doors, or windows open

i think with all of them in place you wont ever be burgled again and any one that tries will spend the rest of their time trying to give you stuff to make up for it XD

Thanks, we just had the police fingerprint guy around - he didn't get anything so its unlikely we will be seeing any of our (uninsured) stuff again. Live & learn, I guess.


Did the build day happen at all? I get the impression that maybe only Glen could make it in the end? I'm keen to finish Gulp and try it in the arena, so if Jeff and anyelse is interested, I'm up for it.
