Spriong looks much better than Marauder. For real sex appeal, Prancing Queen would be your robot.
Could some blasts from the past be resurected? I am thinking of The Aggressor and Annihilation. Mite-E-Er also looks cool. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Mm doesnt sound like a lot of room for a display .We would probaly have to swap robots around dureing the day so they all get displayed .
Nick when you are talking to them again can you ask if we could have more room .. mabee not tables i can bring some mesh panels that bolt together as a cage and the robots could be set out in the middle of that. this way no one could get any where near any nasty parts of the robots .My panels are from memory 2.4 mtres long by 1.2 mtres high and have 30mm x 40 mm mesh on them .It can also double as an arena for demonstrating robots with non violent wheapons in .
Not a lot of space for a lot of robots. Would it be an idea to maybe have an event a week or two after. I might come out for a look but have QCS that week and exams that week and the next. If u need anything Nick just let me know. _________________ Steven Martin

@ kkeerroo do you still have that polycarb box you made for the antweights? That would be a good display. With the two little ones. _________________ Steven Martin

Can every one who is thinking of comeing to display their bots put their name here and the number of bots they would like to bring to give nick an idea .. also vertex iff you would like its presence takes up about 1200mm x about 900mm but can have a few feathers put on top for display and for visual comparison of the weight clases

Well we were planning on only taking Sidewinder and Hellbringer and my DVD collection as I'm still not sure we'll get given that much room to play with. I've wondered around the open days at QUT, UQ, Sunny coast uni and Griffith uni, so I'm interested in seeing what the engineering department at USQ is like. The sumo bot display was actually rather boring at Griffith. _________________ Get Some!!!

Nic should be well served with Team Vertex (is Aaron still considered part of Team Vertex?) and the Keros. Those two groups cover many robot types as well as speed control varriations. There should also be enough technical knowledge to answer all sorts of questions. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Well be there. Unfortuantly my car has broken down I have spent the last 5 days trying to get the thing to start again. I have a guy coming around tomorrow to fix it for me, but if he says the car is dead then I will hire a car to get up there if I have too. I really want to stick Sidewinder in front of an audiance, even if its only on static display.
4th floor? I guess that will limit the amout of stuff Team Vertex will bring.
edit: Do you have a room number? _________________ Get Some!!!

If it's on Sunday, come me in. I'll help you prep the robots on Saturday Andrew. I'll bring over some polish for Vertical Limits, will have that stainless armour shining in no time _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
