My computer at home is playing up. I can view the internet, but I can't type anything into a web browser. Luckly I can sneak internet time at work.

Round 1:
Sproing vs Marauder. Marauder had radio problems. Sproing was all over Maruader, who still managed to self right really nicely.

Marauder is still going up in the picture. I just have to send the 1600 x 1200 res pic to Philip.

Sidewinder vs BBv3. My anti-horizontal bar attachment worked a bit, but the catchment area needs to be wider. I made BBv3 jump at least once. Went to the judges, Sidewinder must have won on looks.

http://www.robowars.org/forum/album_pic.php?pic_id=1007

Vertical Limits vs Prancing Queen. We got the drive in PQ sorted out, but during a weapon test before the figth the dome hit the weapon switch and destroyed it, so no weapon for the day. The fight was over very quick with PQ loosing power after a few quick hits.

Haemorrhage vs Hellbringer. 27kg hitting the walls at 25km/h. Very noisy. Unfortuantly Hellbringer wedge managed to get under the robot and beach it, then the removable link begain to melt. 80+ amps through a 10amp link = bad.

Round 2:
Sidewinder vs Sproing. I was winning. I was even managing some fancy driving. But the mixer crashed and the robot stopped. Sproing then stated dragging Sidewinder around the arena

Vertical Limits vs Haemorrhage. Vertical hit Haemorrhage even though it wasn't trying to do any damage. Eventually it got it airbourne and onto its sweet spot and it was all over.

BBv3 vs Marauder. Now Marauder was having drive problems. Philip needs to stop reducing ground clearance. BBv3 got thrown into the air once, but all lot of hits in. BBv3 won.
http://www.robowars.org/forum/album_pic.php?pic_id=1009

Hellbringer vs Prancing Queen. 25km/h vs 2km/h. She never stood a chance. 2 slams into the wall and she was upside down. Hellbringer then tried to crush the dolls head.

Round 3.
Sproing vs Vertical Limits. Watch Marto's video.
http://www.robowars.org/forum/album_pic.php?pic_id=1012

Heamorrhage vs BBv3. Its seemed that BBv3 was winning, but then lost its weapon and then one side of its drive and then didin't move at all.

Sidewinder vs Hellbringer. Went to the judges. After veiwing the video it should have been Hellbringer. I think the looks did it for me again. The saw did nothing to Hellbringers wheels when it was pinned under the wall.

Loosers Melee:
Vertical Limits vs BBv3 vs Sidewinder. Vertical Limits flipped Sidewinder, breaking the BBv3 bar. It then went and really banged up BBv3. I think bad driving then caused it to hit Sidewinder again and flip it back over. Then just a lot of driving.

When is the next one? It has been too long since our last meet.

Oct 9 ???
Or has it been put back a week?

The Nov date is the 20th.... which would make Dec meet probably clash with Robowars in Vic...

The RoboWars event is looking more likely to be January at the moment, so that might be ok.

Doesnt seem like we're only half way through the season. Those dates sound alright to me there fairly close but we had a really big gap between the last two.

I have made some videos and aarons setting up a server for me to host them on so you should all be able to watch the fights again if you want soon.

I have just downloaded and watched the videos. (gotta love ADSL)

It was an interesting mix of bots. Some bots should not be seen in the arena. It is called editting.
