Continuous rotating servo

I modified a servo the other day fro Alex's boat. This may also be relevant for anyone who is building ants.

I had troble pulling everything apart until I discovered that the motor was glued in. A jewlers screwdriver was slid up the side of the servo motor to break this glue. There was one tab to be cut from a cog and the feed back potentiometer was moved so that it could be accessed from the outside. I put a little glue on the motor when it was reassembled.

It was actually quite easy.

I painted the servo PCB with nail pollish to prevent the water from reaching my electronics. Others have reported using this method. One of the modified servos is not working correctly. Would nail pollish damage PCBs? Is there something better to protect the electronics from water? I could just flush them with metho after imertion.

Any comments?
