Hey, I don't think Jolt got owned so badly - Jolt peeled BOB's frame pretty badly, knocked the top right off, and got in a couple of OK wedges (considering it was 2 wheels to 4). Sure, Jeff deserved to win, but I think we were reasonably evenly matched. Either way it was the best match I've ever been in Very Happy

I'm hard at work preparing for the video and there should be a few up later tomorrow

Woo! Lucky 13 points Shocked Don't know how that happened.

Just letting you all know that I am still repairing my video editing PC - the backup program is saying just 1:25 hours until I can get stuck into actually importing the video. Let's hope nothing else holds the video clips up...

believe me it was very intense, was very even at times with lots of bac and forth action. Many across arena flying to which was awesome and serious aggression by jeff.

And here is the video you've all been waiting for! I would have had it up sooner, except to a power cut that wiped quite a bit of work last night - stinkin' Energy Australia Evil or Very Mad

Jolt VS BoB (High Res)
http://www.lovingangels.com/Nick/Jolt_V_BOB_H.wmv

Its definitely the best match I ever lost! Lots more to come soon. As space on my new server is limited, I will only be able to keep 2 or 3 videos on-line; download them if you want to keep them. This server also seems slower than the old one, please be patient with the 11 Mb download

I am also looking at a DVD or VCD for the NSW guys.

Three words....
Jolt GOT PWNED!!!! Razz

Very nice fight. Looking at the video twice, BOB was all over Jolt like a cheap suit! I noticed BOB seemed to deflect Jolt upwards on the hits. I think that the small wheel base is actually giving BOB an advantage, by making it easy for the front of BOB to lift up during impact, throwing Jolt way back across the arena.

Jeff F, you earned that win, no other robot has beaten Jolt so easily if you ask me! Great event guys!

Here are some shots of the damage to BOB:

That's 3mm steel and BOB will need a new front or at least some serious welding - no wonder Jolt broke a tooth off! I'm still not sure why Jolt gets so much air time from weapon impacts- it happens with all the low hight bots like Kang and Cobra too. At least it helps spread out the reaction forces and allows Jolt to take less damage in return.

Just looking at this, The match with Jolt VS Speedbump isn't mentioned - it was definitely the comedy routine of the day...

Sounds good to me - just let me know when they are done and what the links are, then I will edit my posts and upload some more videos. I only get around 40 Mb on this server and there was about 300 Mb of video from the last event...
