Plan-F has had first motion
we are driiivin
and its joyus
striaght lines
"right hand sliding 90's" with skid sounds (albiet from the belts but eh...)
gentle curves
all wheel drive is the new bombe
little bit slow in the turning (compared to plan-b) which isnt too much of a bad thing methinks.
but apart from that nifty ++
now to make this wepon switch
3x irf1405's (fets)
a metric assload of aluminium and a honking big hunk of copper
then encase it all in urithane, but really close to the outside for heatsinking. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

No worries to those that can`t make it or won`t find it worthwhile. We should still have a good day, I`m still looking forward to it even though I`m not competing.
I`ll get a good chance to stick my head in Orbit and check out all the safe wiring . Get to see a Plan F demonstration and Lindsay, don`t forget Robosapien, I want to enter Roboraptor and just default on all the combat!
I can run 36v Refbot base with a new bin on it. It would be a lightwieght Pushbot!

If jeff is looking for some inspiration, how about we all give him a demo driving of our bots? Seems only polite to give our host some driving time... _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Yes to all but Jeff F may be a little rushed and maybe late from what ive heard as he has to do a all nighter to get his bot done so he told me and Plan B may be Plan F
Besides that yes to all _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

I'll drop in and say hi, but I don't have time to get anything going unfortunately.
Every day I'm not working on the car is another day I'll be without a fun car to drive so I'm keeping pretty busy! _________________ The Engine Whisperer

Mixed news from Team Overkill:
I have scored a decent video camera to tape the event with and I found why my video editing PC wasn't working ( 2 dead sticks of expensive Corsair memory )
The bad news is that Jolt has weapon motor problems and I'm not sure it will last even one match I will be there anyway and some lucky bot may get crowned "the Mag killer" _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
