I'm game! I just picked up 4 hobbywight sized FBS shells for FREE!!!

Hey angus,
if posible could u get a pic or whatever of those shells as ive wanted to make a FBS for a long time now and making a simple small one would be sweet yusing friction drive off a nice fan motor setup i have going now.
thanks bud
so whos game to start this new class as i would do it fo shizzle if others also seemed game and wanted a nice right rumble with em.
even if there a lunch time battle at events or during breaks etc thatd be sweet _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

come to think about it, i doubt the shells are big enough for a hobbyweight...
they're real thin too...only about 5-7cm high
A lunchtime rumble would be sweet, maybe i could get a hobbyweight going for this event! A new feather is basicaly out of the question though _________________ ( •_•)

5-7cm is tall enough by far.
ive got drills, motors, relays, drill nicads and switch controllers coming out my A-hole so when i get some time off school ill knock up a quick robot just to get this thing rolling _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

I wouldn't mind seeing this class get moving. I might make a bot entirely out of cutting boards and some spare parts _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

I might start drawing out a robot. Give me a couple of years and I will have it up and running. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

I might look at just building a MDF and cutting board bot up for the Hobbyweights, would also be a great test frame for my Pulse 50 speed controllers. Philip, you can knock one up in a week, I remember you use to build a new Marauder each event before you went full pressure Maybe you could even use Marauder's old pneumatics for a Hobbyweight flipper _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Actually, the low pressure ram and valve isn't that much different in weight from the high pressure system. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
